I like to use a range of media when drawing and sketching such as pastel, watercolour, charcoal, anything which leaves a mark that I like. There is no one subject which I particularly like to draw either, I find that I may be drawn to an object because of the lines it creates through its shape and structure or because of some emotional tie I may have with a certain place or event. A drawing may symbolise the memory of a person or time be it either happy or sad.

Simply drawing a subject because it is beautiful is enough however to warrant the effort of trying to capture its image and hold it, hoping that you may do it some justice.
